Dan Brotman

Executive Director

Originally from Boston, Dan began his career in lobbying roles for the South African Jewish community, initially serving as the Head of Media and Public Affairs for the South African Jewish Board of Deputies, and subsequently as Executive Director of the South Africa-Israel Forum. Most recently, he was the co-founder and CEO of En-novate, a successful corporate educational travel company that took over 1,000 South African entrepreneurs and business leaders to ten of the world’s most innovative countries, including Israel.

Louise Bacon

Director of Corporate Services & Book Keeping

Louise manages the accounting and administrative staff, as well as prepares the financial statements for the board. She is also our HR director and our in-house tech support. She completed her Social Work Degree at the University of Windsor and her Accounting Certificate at St Clair College. She has been working in the financial/bookkeeping field now for over 20 years.

Richie Kamen

Richie is a native of Windsor and has been with the organization since 2016. He attended the University of Ottawa, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Arts and Education. In partnership with the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, the Jewish Community Endowment Fund of Windsor and London Jewish Community Foundation, Richie coordinates the Life & Legacy Program. Through Life & Legacy, Jewish organizations in both Windsor and London (Ontario) are receiving training, support and monetary incentives to motivate Jewish organizations to secure after-lifetime commitments, with the aim of building permanent endowments that will sustain them for years to come. Richie’s portfolio also includes applying to various grants and coordinating the annual United Jewish Appeal Campaign.

Fola Fawusi

Fola is a transplant from Guelph to Nigeria, then Gatineau and Ottawa, before finally settling in Windsor. While in Ottawa, she attended Algonquin College, where she obtained a Business Computer Diploma. She graduated from the University of Windsor in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and worked for several years for the City of Detroit. As a lifelong learner, she graduated from St. Clair College in 2000 with a certificate in accounting. In her spare time, she coordinates mental health workshops, assists newcomers, and is furthering her knowledge of mental health and addictions at Cambrian College.

Rosalie Hartenberg Watson

Front Desk Receptionist

Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Rosalie received her Bachelor’s in Economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an MBA in Hospitality & Tourism in Brazil. After working in the hospitality industry for many years, she worked at various Jewish organizations in Toronto after immigrating to Canada with her family in 2010. She is delighted to work in the Windsor Jewish Community, where she has been residing since 2020.

Joe Schnayer

Joe is a native of Windsor, works on planning and managing of events, parties, and classes, while also assisting seniors living in the I.L. Peretz House. He obtained a degree in Law and Society from York University in Toronto. After university, he lived in Israel for five months, where he completed an internship at The Federation of Local Authorities in Israel.
